Chocolate, an ancestral food barely consumed by Mexicans.

Mexico, Dec. 6 (Notimex).- With milk, in cakes, creamy dessert or as a hot drink, chocolate, white and dark, bitter or semi- bitter would be a good coat for the soul in this time of cold and Christmas nostalgia.

This ancestral food well positioned in the taste of Mexicans becomes a sign of affection and gratitude, and is given during the holiday season or offered to accompany a good talk at meetings.

Consuming chocolate produces happiness and wellbeing, as well as being a rich source of energy to cope with low temperatures, said Alicia Paramo Ortega, general director of the National Association of Manufacturers of Chocolates, Sweets and Similar (Aschoco, for its acronym in Spanish).
